عن الرواية : هي ليست رواية بالمعنى المعروف ولكنه عبارة عن حوار طويل في موقف تخيلي بين شاب عربي مسلم معاصر وأمير المؤمنين عمر بن الخطاب، تضمن الحوار العديد من الجوانب الهامة منذ بداية إسلام عمر وحتى وفاته، مثل :
– مواقف مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وصحابته الكرام في أحداث عديدة مثل الهجرة والغزوات وغيرها
– جانب الخلافة والحكم وسياسة الفاروق في إدارة الدولة الإسلامية ببراعة وحكمة منقطعة النظير
– حديث عن رأي عمر رضي الله عنه في دور المرأة المهم في الإسلام وكيف يرى أنها لا تقل عن الرجل تأثيراً، بل هي العمود الداعم لكل خطوة وكل نجاح وكل فتح منذ بداية نزول الوحي على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وموقف أم المؤمنين خديجة رضي الله عنها
عن الكاتب : أدهم الشرقاوي كاتب فلسطيني ولد ونشأ في مدينة صور اللبنانية حاصل على دبلوم دار معلمين من الأونيسكو، دبلوم تربية رياضية من الأونيسكو، إجازة في الأدب العربي من الجامعة اللبنانية في بيروت، ماجستير في الأدب العربي
ولأن الناس معادن خيارهم في الجاهلية خيارهم في الإسلام إذا فقهوا ، كان عمر الجاهلي مهيأ بإتقان ليكون عمر الفاروق ! كل ماينقصه إعادة هيكلة وصياغة، وليس أقدر من الإسلام على هيكلة الناس وصياغتهم من جديد ! فالإسلام لا يلغي الطبائع إنما يهذبها ، ولا يهدم الصفات وإنما يصقلها ، وفي الإسلام هذّب عمر وصفل حتى صار واحداً من الذين لا يأتون إلا مرة واحدة في التاريخ

About The Writer : Adham El-Sharkawy is a Palestinian writer born and raised in Tire, Lebanon. He holds a diploma in house teachers from UNESCO, a diploma in sports education from UNESCO, a BA in Arabic literature from the Lebanese University in Beirut, and an MA in Arabic literature
