عن الرواياتان : روايتان في كتاب واحد للكاتب الروسي الأشهر أنطون تشيخوف؛ هما “الفلاحون” و”عنبر 6″ بترجمة مرسي الطحاوي، من أشهر ما كتب تشيخوف، ظهرت هذه الروايات لأول مرة في مجلة الفكر الروسي الأولى سنة 1892 والثانية سنة 1897 وترجمت إلى اللغة العربية للمرة الأولى عام 1968
إن النماذج الأدبية والقصصية التي تطرق إليها “أنطون تشيخوف” في أعماله تعج بالإنسانية، فقد عاش تشيخوف وهمُّه الأول هو الإنسان في كل حالاته ومشكلاته، فبقيت أعماله القصصية والروائية القصيرة والمسرحية خير شاهد على أحداث عصره. لذا سيظل اسم أنطون تشيخوف هو الأول والأسبق عندما تذكر القصة القصيرة، لِما استطاع أن يقدمه من أجل هذا الفن وفي سبيل بقائه
الموضوع : رواية “الفلاحون” تدور حول مستخدم بأحد فنادق موسكو، يضطره المرض للعودة رفقة أسرته الصغيرة لقريته، حيث بؤس الفلاح الروسي وظلاميته وسكرته التي لا تكاد تنتهي. “عنبر 6” تحكي قصة طبيب يزاول مهنته بشكل روتيني يتبلد لديه الإحساس بالمسؤولية نظرا للا مبالاة الحكومة تجاه المستشفى، فينعكس هذا الواقع عليه متجها للقراءة الفلسفية والتأمل، مبتعدا عن بقية شخوص الرواية قبل أن يلتقي في الجناح المخصص للمرضى النفسيين شابا مثقفا يتبادل معه الحديث حول الدين والأخلاق، لسبب ما تتدخل إدارة المستشفى التي يعمل بها والسلطة لفصله منها وإدخاله بدوره لمصحّ المجانين. في الروايتين فرادة تشيخوف في قراءة وتحليل اضطرابات عصره وحالة البؤس الفكري والإنساني

Subject : The novel “The Peasants” revolves around an employee in a Moscow hotel, who is forced by illness to return with his young family to his village, where the Russian peasant’s misery, darkness and endless drunkenness. “Chamber 6” tells the story of a physician who practices his profession routinely who has a sense of responsibility diminished due to the government’s indifference towards the hospital. Religion and morals, for some reason, the administration of the hospital in which he works and the authority intervene to separate him from it and bring him in turn to the insane.
