“هاريسون” المحظوظ بالطبع؛ فقد كانت مغامراته الأولى أسطورية وسط الطامحين بتمثيله في سلسلة أفلام إنديانا جونز الخرافية. وعندما وصل لأول مرة إلى لوس أنجلوس في الستينيات من القرن العشرين، لم تجذب براعة “فورد” التمثيلية أي شخص، لدرجة أنه بدأ العمل نجارا. وذات مرة قام أحد المخرجين الشباب وقد كان في بدايات مسيرته المهنية بتكليفه بصنع بعض الخزائن في منزله، ثم بعد ذلك تعرفا على بعضهما أكثر وصارت بينهما صداقة وهو ما جعل المخرج يسند إليه دورا في فيلم صغير كان يصوره بميزانية محدودة رفضته ست شركات لإنتاج الأفلام، لكن الفيلم حقق نجاحا تجاريّا كبيرا على غير المتوقع

كان هذا الفيلم هو أميريكان جرافيتي للمخرج “جورج لوكاس”. لعلك سمعت عنه؟ فبعد ظهور الفيلم بسنوات قليلة، حصل “لوكاس” على الموافقة لصنع فيلم آخر لم تكن شركات إنتاج الأفلام متحمسة له – ستار وورز – وأسند دورا لصديقه الجديد “هاريسون فورد” فيه

سألت “كاسي” عندما اقتربت لتعيد ملء مشروبي: “أتعتقدين أنك ستجدين مخرجا مثل جورج لوكاس في المقهى؟”

فردت بابتسامة: “بكل تأكيد”

ولم لا؟ فلقد أتاحت لنفسها الفرصة لتكون محظوظة، هنا في زاوية بحي هوليوود هيلز؛ حيث يعيش الكثير من المنتجين والمخرجين. وربما يكون الشخص التالي الذي ستخدمه مديرا تنفيذيّا في شركة باراماونت (أو على الأقل في شبكة ديزني تشانل) والذي سيلاحظ إمكاناتها

قادت المصادفة “هاريسون فورد” إلى سلسلة من الأحداث التي جعلته واحدا من أهم نجوم جيله. ولولا تلك الخزائن التي صنعها، ما كان ليحظى ربما بهذه الشهرة العالمية في فيلم ستار وورز. وكان يمكن لممثل آخر أن يلعب دور “هان سولو” الرائع جدّا ويحبس في صندوق كبير من الكربون

And if it weren’t for the coffers he made, he might not have achieved such international fame in Star Wars. Another actor could play the very cool Han Solo and get locked in a big carbon box
