About The Writer : Xavier was born in Ibermont in Hutsart in 1823 and died in Paris in 1902, a French writer and author of serial novels and popular tragedies. He published in 1862 episodes of a new fictional series entitled (Doctor of the Poor), which became unrivaled. He gained wide fame as a popular novelist in addition to being the author of the best-selling novel in the nineteenth century ((The Bread Seller)) published in 1889, and was quoted in succession in theater, cinema and television.
Subject : The characters of the novel, as drawn by Domenban, are contested by various emotions. They are human emotions, full of emotions and feelings, that evoke the past in pursuit of uncovering the truth that remains the human purpose.
