How to Prepare Your Coffee
- To prepare two cups, bring 150 ml of water to a boil in a small pot (cezve).
- Remove the pot from the heat, add three teaspoons (60 grams each) of Turkish coffee to the boiling water, and stir well.
- Add sugar to taste and stir thoroughly.
- Lower the heat and let the coffee simmer on low for about three minutes, or until a thick foam forms.
- Remove the pot from the heat before the coffee fully boils, and repeat this step once or twice.
- Spoon some of the foam into two coffee cups.
- Slowly pour the coffee into the cups to preserve the foam.
- Drink and enjoy!
